Quilter of the Month

We are proud to announce that our Featured Quilter is Sandi Moore. Sandi has been a friend to Bluebird since we first opened our doors. She teaches classes for us, is a faithful Quilt Fairy at Mystery Quilt Day and helps whenever possible.  She is an accomplished quilter and is quick to share her knowledge.  The staff at Bluebird is proud to know Sandi Moore!

This was Sandi’s reply when asked about her quilting experiences:

I began quilting in 1990 with Judy Keller. We drafted patterns, used cardboard templates and hand sewed.

I graduated to a machine several years later – both piecing and quilting. I’ve bought and sold eight machines since then. I now use 3 Vikings – one for piecing and embellishing, one for quilting and one to haul around. I also have a serger and a Sweet 16.

I love to teach and have taught at Cindy’s, Robinson’s and Bluebird. I dearly love Bluebird!! These ladies are a gift from heaven.

Well Sandi, we think YOU  are a gift too!!!
